As someone who admires Japanese culture and aesthetics, this project was a personal way to reflect those influences in my work. Each letter was hand-painted, and assembled on Illustrator and FontForge to create a working typeface that aims to feel both delicate and expressive. Designed for display use, Kintsugi pairs best with clean, rounded sans-serif or grotesque fonts, allowing its detailed glyphs to stand out.
